Afro Trip made my 50th birthday trip to Salvador Bahia and Rio de Janeiro unforgettable. From my first call with Carina to plan the trip, to airport pickup and every day after, they delivered exactly what they promised — and more. Our guides Fernando and Ana Maria were fantastic; Ana Maria's energy was amazing. When bad weather hit Rio, they adjusted our schedule so we didn't miss a thing, and they even helped with reservations for our free time. Highly recommend Afro Trip for anyone traveling to Brazil!

Carina planned an amazing trip to Brazil for myself and 25 travelers. We visited Salvador and Rio de Janeiro and had an awesome time! The tour guides in both cities were well-versed in Afro-Brazilian history and provided informative and engaging tours. We had a chance to experience the unique Boa Morte festival in Cachoeira, tour Pelourinho, visit Little Africa in Rio, and of course see Christ the Redeemer. All of our meals were delicious and allowed us to taste the best of Brazilian cuisine. Afrotrip was responsive and helpful throughout, rearranging airport pick-ups after part of the group was delayed. Highly recommend their services for anyone looking to discover the richness of Afro-Brazilian culture!

This trip was excellent! The tours were well curated and the passion that our tour guides brought us when teaching the history was awesome! I am still processing all of the information still.. the restaurants were wonderful.. real authentic Brazilian cuisine.. I really enjoyed my cooking class and soccer was so fun! I hope to visit again and hope to connect with this tour group again! Thank you!
