Our group thoroughly enjoyed touring Salvador da Bahia Icaro was a wonderful gude....full of information and historical facts. Since were on a cruise excursion, our time was limited. But the tour was still quite comprehensive. We especially enjoyed eating acarajé and shopping at Bella Oyaodire. The booking/payment process was very smooth and it was helpful to be able to communicate with Icaro via WhatsApp on the day of the tour. Our group was also very pleased with the modern, comfortable air-conditioned vehicle that we traveled in...and having cold bottled water to help us deal with the heat. It was a wonderful tour!

My group of 12 had a fabulous experience with AfroTrip. We learned so much, had great guides and really good food. Some highlight include going to Kaonge Kilombo, discussions on the history of the African presence in Brazil and the Carnival Experience. It was easy to plan and well orchestrated.
