This was an AMAZING experience. Karina, Fernando and Anna were absolutely amazing. They thought about every detail of our trip and made it memorable. I truly experienced the culture of Brazil. Definitely a top tier rating experience!

Carina planned an amazing trip to Brazil for myself and 25 travelers. We visited Salvador and Rio de Janeiro and had an awesome time! The tour guides in both cities were well-versed in Afro-Brazilian history and provided informative and engaging tours. We had a chance to experience the unique Boa Morte festival in Cachoeira, tour Pelourinho, visit Little Africa in Rio, and of course see Christ the Redeemer. All of our meals were delicious and allowed us to taste the best of Brazilian cuisine. Afrotrip was responsive and helpful throughout, rearranging airport pick-ups after part of the group was delayed. Highly recommend their services for anyone looking to discover the richness of Afro-Brazilian culture!

This trip was excellent! The tours were well curated and the passion that our tour guides brought us when teaching the history was awesome! I am still processing all of the information still.. the restaurants were wonderful.. real authentic Brazilian cuisine.. I really enjoyed my cooking class and soccer was so fun! I hope to visit again and hope to connect with this tour group again! Thank you!

I recently led a group of 30 African Americans on a 10 day cultural journey through Salvador, Bahia and Rio de Janeiro, and working with Carina made this experience exceptional from beginning to end. She listened carefully to my vision, offered thoughtful suggestions, and handled every detail — even the smallest ones — with care and excellence. Carina went above and beyond to make our travelers feel seen and celebrated. For couples with wedding anniversaries, she arranged personalized gifts. For birthdays, she coordinated notes in hotel rooms and surprised us at our farewell dinner with a custom cake delivered to the restaurant, complete with balloons, candles, and sparklers. When we arrived in Rio for a football match, she made sure everyone knew exactly which jerseys to wear and even provided an additional guide to help us understand the game. Our group came to Brazil to learn about the history and legacy of Africans in Brazil, and the guides she selected were deeply knowledgeable and passionate. At my request, Carina ensured that we supported Afro Brazilian and women owned establishments throughout the trip — and we were able to dine at one almost every day. This was a group traveling to Brazil for the first time, and Carina created an experience that was safe, seamless, meaningful, and unforgettable.
